Text messages about your insurance documents

Clients receive text messages only about their own life insurance application: a secure link to review and electronically sign their compliance documents, and a link to their signed, completed copy. We never send marketing texts and never text anyone who isn't a client.

How you agree to receive texts

During your life insurance application meeting (in person, by phone or by video), your agent confirms your mobile number and asks for your permission before any text is sent. Your agent reads you this statement:

"Your compliance documents (Reasons Why Analysis, Associate Disclosure Form and Needs Analysis) will be sent to you electronically to review and sign. May I text a secure signing link and your signed copies to your mobile number, [number]? Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop texts."

Your mobile number is entered only after you say yes, and your agreement is recorded on your client file. Numbers are collected directly from you and are never bought, shared or sold.

What you'll receive

  • A message when your documents are ready, with a secure link to review and sign them
  • A one-time verification code, if you choose to receive it by text
  • A confirmation with a link to your signed, completed copy

Usually 2–3 messages per application. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop texts

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You'll get one confirmation and nothing more. Reply START to resubscribe, or HELP for contact details. You can also ask your agent at any time and they'll use email instead.
